Questions
About this oil.
Ready to try it? We reply on WhatsApp with the price and delivery details.
Is this groundnut oil refined?
No. It is wood-pressed in a kolhu and filtered only. It is not bleached, deodorised or extracted with solvents, which is why it keeps its golden colour and nutty taste.
Can I use it for deep frying?
Yes. Groundnut oil is the traditional choice for deep frying puri, pakode and kachori in Indian kitchens. Do not reuse oil that has started to smoke or darken.
Why does it look darker than the groundnut oil I usually buy?
Most supermarket groundnut oil is refined and bleached until it is pale. Pressed oil keeps the natural colour of the seed, so it looks more golden.
